Game of the Year 2012 is a tough choice this year. Nothing seems to really stand out to me so far. Diablo III got a lot of playtime, but I wouldn't really recommend it. Torchlight II was fun, but I kind of put it down and haven't played it again. Here are my previous choices for GOTY.
2011: The Binding of Isaac
        Runner Up 1: Batman Arkham City
        Runner Up 2: Saints Row: The Third
2010: Super Meat Boy
2009: Batman Arkham Asylum

How to: Fix these WCF errors:
    1) "The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (65536) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element."
    2) "Unrecognized attribute 'maxReceivedMessageSize'. Note that attribute names are case-sensitive."
The trick is to make sure you name your binding and then make sure you use your named binding in the bindingConfiguration of your client endpoint:
<system.serviceMode>
        <bindings>
                <binding name="test" maxBufferSize ="1000000" maxReceivedMessageSize="1000000"/>
        <bindings>
        <client>
                <endpoint address="http://127.0.0.1/service.svc" binding="basicHttpBinding"
                                  bindingConfiguration="test" contract="Test.WebServices.Service" />
        </client>
</system.serviceMode>
Hopefully this will help someone who is trying to figure out this issue.

How to: Build an application to run on an iPhone 3G
In Xcode, go to the Project Summary tab. Change the Deployment Target to your iOS version ie: "4.2".
On the Info tab, change the Required device capabilities from "armv7" to "armv6".
On the Build Settings tag, change the Architectures to "armv6". Change the Valid Architectures to "armv6 armv7" if needed.
Also, don't forget to add a Code Signing Identity. You need to do this for any device, but you don't want to forget this part.

How to: See what is in iCloud on your Mac.
Apparenly since OSX 10.7.3 the Daemon is sleeping until an app requests iCloud access.
1) Start an Application on your Mac that uses iCloud to start the Daemon. I used Memo from the Mac AppStore.
2) Open Finder and go to ~/Library/Mobile Documents/
All the files will be in this directory. If the directory does not exist, go back to step 1 and launch Memo.

I just finished Bastion. I'm not sure what the big deal is. The gameplay is nothing special. The best part is the narration. The most surprising part is that 21.9% choose The Beginning while 16.4% choose The End. I chose The End the first time. Then I replayed the last level to choose The Beginning. Maybe the most surprising part is actually the fact that I replayed the last level to choose the opposite choices.
        I bought a bunch of games during the Holiday Steam Sale, so I don't have a GOTY yet. Isaac is still the frontrunner (see my previous entry). Once I play my backlog, I'll pick a "winner." The only thing I'm sure of is that my GOTY is not Red Orchestra 2. I did not get my money'$ worth from that one. It's also not going to be Super Mario 3d Land or Mario Kart 7. That system (3DS) is a huge disappointment. Hopefully this year we'll get some worthwhile games. <cough>Diablo III</cough>
